Our Mission

Building more than robots.

Teamwork

Our team is mentor driven but student organized. We help train, elevate, and support each other while holding ourselves accountable.

Community

We support our community by sharing our knowledge, mentoring younger students, and getting kids excited about STEM through our outreach program.

Also Robots

Let's face it, building robots is fun. We are proud of our exceptional student-built FTC robots and look forward to continuing our tradition in FRC.

Our Story

This is how we got to where we are today.

  • 2015-2017

    Our Humble Beginnings

Our team grew out of an established FTC team at our school which experienced a "soft reset" in 2015 when the majority of its members graduated. Since 2015 we've rebuilt ourselves and regained our expertise as we forged new bonds and built a new robotics community at our school.

  • March 2018

    NorCal FTC Champions

After a stellar season our team won the northern California FTC state championship, and earned our school's first trip to the FIRST World Championship in Houston, Texas. We were excited to be there and experience all the energy, but we especially happy to have finished in the top quartile at Worlds.

  • April 2018

    Aspiring for More

While at Houston, we really got to experience the differences between the FTC and FRC programs. While we found the atmosphere and excitment intoxicating, we really felt that we had what it took to participate in the FIRST Robotics Competition, which is more of a "professional" high school robotics league.

  • August 2018

    Founding our FRC Team

When we returned from Houston, we discussed with our mentors and convinced them, as well as our school's administration, to support us in founding and supporting our FRC team. While we worked throughout the spring, we got our team registered and approved over the summer. Since then we've been working to recruit new students, more technical mentors, and forge partnerships with local companies.
